Report a translation problem
Instead of decelerating then accelerating anew, it'll directly accelerate in the opposite direction.
As an example: Starting from an input value of 0 by default toward 50 as intended by the game.
But now if you want to go toward -30, instead of transiting from 50 toward -30 it'll do -50 toward -30.
As 50 and -50 require the same amount of power.

And I've also adapted this system for ballast pump on this sub.
To test this implementation on the said sub:
-Once aboard as the captain in the test ground of the sub editor you'll see four buttons next to the nav. Terminal, press the upper right one out of those four.
-Then use the switch, again, next to the nav. Terminal, on the opposite side of the buttons.
-Then see the changes by steering the sub through the nav. Terminal.
You'll notice that you require only 1/4th of the control screen to steer the sub in every directions.
