Introducing Day Number 07, the ’IGL-00’ - Landing Capsule

“This will likely be the last entry of Lisa Ford, captain of the ISCS Deliverance. Following behind our forerunner the Distant Mirage, it was mine and my crew's privilege to be operating the first colony ship to pass beyond our Sun, and through the great black sea. We slept through the dark for centuries in hypersleep; driven by the hope and promise of new horizons, but now we finally stand, awake and emerged at the forefront of our pursuit, met with an endless and unceasing void, our dreams turned to dust, and scattered by a solar wind.

The advanced team we were expecting to meet were long gone and the world we once looked to for life now stood decadent and frail - though this was not through the passage of time.

Beyond the horizon lay a hole in the sky; a growing rift of incalculable mass consuming all in its path. A sun eater. We tried to reverse out of its grasp, but the pull was too strong, and we will soon fall into the infinite black, our cries swallowed by the pit.

Something is coming for all realities, something that is growing and cannot be stopped. It is my hope that wherever we are going now, we are following those who came before. No matter where you are Markus, I will find you… I will find you no matter what it takes…

I make you that promise."
