History:

In 2020, The Vice President of the TMEP, jeranios63 (me) was a big fan of the Southern Pacific Daylight and was upset that it doesn't run anymore and nearly all of the locomotives were scrapped. One day in 2021, When the TMEP had a discussion meeting, he told CBug519 about his idea to bring back the Southern Pacific Daylight. CBug519 loved the idea and so he made what the paint scheme will look like while jeranios63 (me) was looking for a locomotive to haul the first train. Lucky for him, he was able to find a smokebox of a GS-4 4444, he soon purchased it and told CBug519 about it, CBug519 decided to have SP 4444 be the first locomotive to haul the TMEP Daylight. In 2026, The Reconstruction of SP GS-4 4444 was complete, jeranios63 (me) was happy to see 2 GS-4s now around.
