Description
My take on the Polish Samochód pancerny wz. 34 armoured car.

It's definitely an approximation, not a 1:1 replica.
I scaled the whole car up by about 10-15%, partly due to Bob being a thicc boi, but mainly because there are no narrow tyres the right size in the workshop.
I also had to make the turret a little higher to fit the machine gun and make the top part of the turret open whole instead of splitting it in two like the original.

Info from Wikipedia, somewhat edited.

************

Samochód pancerny wz. 34 (armored car, year 1934 model), was a standard light armored car used by the Polish Army during the September Campaign of 1939.

The vehicle was based on the earlier half-track Samochód Pancerny wz. 28, which entered service in 1928. The original vehicle proved to be unpopular with its crews who were unhappy with its handling, low maximum speed, as well as poor cross-country capabilities, and it was decided to rebuild it as a wheeled vehicle. The tracks were replaced by the rear axle from Fiat trucks.

The wz. 34 were built in a number of versions with different engines and slightly different armored plates. They were armed with either 7.92 mm Ckm wz. 25 Hotchkiss machine gun, or the short-barreled 37 mm Puteaux SA 18 gun. Production ended in 1938.

The new version of the armored car was accepted for service in 1935. At the outbreak of the Second World War in September 1939, the car was obsolete but still in use. All Polish cavalry brigades had an armored company made of 8 armored cars and 13 tankettes. In 10 out of 11 Polish cavalry brigades the wz.34 was used. They saw action against both the Germans and the Soviets.

The armour was 6-8 mm thick and would protect from small arms fire and smaller shrapnel. I made the car out of aluminium instead of steel to somewhat emulate the lower thickness of armour.
Top speed was about 54 kph.

************

This version is armed with the 7.92 mm Ckm wz. 25 Hotchkiss machine gun. It's impossible to fit any of the other guns in the small turret so the version with the short-barreled 37 mm Puteaux SA 18 breechloaded gun will have to wait until 1.6 is released and I might make a times1 shot machine gun with explosive bullets to emulate it.

As per usual intricate camouflage patterns are near impossible to make in the game so I'm making one brownish olive drab version and one with the colours of the original camouflage but in a pattern that works with the build.

Controls

Driver's seat
WASD: Drive.sd
L/Headlights: Headlight.
H/Horn: Horn.

Commander's seat
Alt + Arrow keys/Mouse:Turret rotation and machine gun elevation.
Fire action 1/Num 1: Fire machine gun.
Camera 1 (chair exclusive): Sight.

Commander's "standing position" * (switch with F1)
Alt + Arrow keys/Mouse:Turret rotation and machine gun elevation.
Fire action 1/Num 1: Fire machine gun.
No camera here since you wont be able to use the sight but you can still shoot.

All doors, hatches and vision hatches are opened with buttons on them.

The spare wheel and the tools can be removed by activating the detonators.

* I of course tried using the "standing seat" for this position but that would poke out at the top if Bob was high enough up since Bob's head is almost flush with it so I went for a regular seat.
