Description
Compatible with 1.9.*. Makes popularity from battlefield victory actually matters.
Compatible with VTM. Load order doesn't matter.
Can be installed mid-game.
Affects everyone, AIs included.
Works for all languages.
----------------------------------------------------------------

On average, popularity gained from victories is tenfolded across the board.

There are 3 types of victories: Narrow (starts with numerical advantage, loses that advantage, but wins in the end anyways)
Heroic (starts with a numeric disadvantage against a more prestigious nation, yet wins somehow)
Normal (A win that is neither narrow nor heroic)

In the base game, the popularity gained from these victories are 3/2/5 with 50%/10%/100% odds
With this mod, it’s instead 15/2/50 with 100%/100%/100% odds
The duration of this popularity is also increased from 5 years to 50 years.

Popularity loss from defeats are likewise changed.

Thank you, some nations have awesome Generals like Prussia with Moltke and it's an awesome bit of flavor but for the vast majority of nations you end up with soso generals that get shell shock or something and they only got their good traits really late, they die and you end up just not really caring about generals and just focusing on making mass armies with ones that are not too bad, generally cluttered up with a lot of political recruits, which seems like a shame to me.
Part of it is that the Victorian era is a whole 100 years so there is that but having the option to manage them better or some way to get rid of traits like shell shock or wounded seems like an important thing and something they would have focused on at the time.

@Kurt
I'm glad you find this mod useful.
To answer your question, it sounds like a useful mod concept, I wish i can tell you there is another mod for you to use as a base to build off of, but character interactions are a very under developed part of the modding scene.
