MH-21 RAVEN Naval utility Helicopter

Description
DESCRIPTION
The MH-21 Raven is a light naval utility helicopter, designed to be a direct succesor to the older and commonly disliked SH-22 TERN. After years of mostly succesfull service, the Arcadian navy decided that they needed a new helicopter for use on their ships. That is the origin of the NGSH (Next Generation Shipborn Helicopter) Project. The NGSH Project called for the development of a Helicopter, to have the size of 12.5m x 5.75m x 5m or less, a weight of less than 2700 kg and a range of over 300km. Although several companies created designes, and some even built prototypes, the Star Industries XMH-21 was chosen to be the winner
