Description

This patch makes it so the Crusader uses the Fire Attacks mechanic. Some Scaling has been changed/removed to increase teambuilding balance. This is labeled as a patch since it uses .override instead of changing the .info of the crusader. Will not work with other mods that use the .override of the crusader. Might work with reworks as long as they kept the internal name of the skills the same.


This patch does the following things...

- zealous accusation is now a fire attack and buff fire attacks
- zealous accusation now has a 25% chance to mark targets it hits
- zealous accusation now has a debuff ability boarder
- Holy Lance is now a fire attack and buff fire attacks
- Holy Lance now has a new fire animation
- A new Crimson Court Trinket that buffs the crusader's debuff chance, based off his DD2 trinket Fieldstone


- Includes Riposte Data for the crusader despite not having a way to activate riposte.

So apparently this mod require crimson court dlc to run properly due to trinket change, Please add crimson court as dependency

though seeing that it add crimson court trinket I'm not sure if it could cause problem cause I didn't have crimson court dlc enable

I just check my modlist and I'm pretty sure there's nothing aside from skill icon change that would modify crusader, I can post my modlist if you want though, also to add another thing PD fire attack patch didn't crash my game

you might have another mod that is modifying the crusader. I downloaded just this mod + the fire core and it works on a save.

Hey is there anyway to use this mod without crashing? Your other fire attack patch for mod class work but crusader and vestal seems to always crash the game on load for some reason

you need the fire attacks core now and not just the runaway. I need to update the description.

only using these for vanilla classes. turns out plague doctor's patch works but vestal and crusader always crash the game even if they're put above runaway in the mod menu

you need the original mods for the fire attack patches. The only ones that don't are Crusader, Plague Doctor, and Vestal since they are vanilla heroes.

my game crashes each time i use this mod, runaway works fine by herself but none of the patches do? i'm putting them above and don't have any other class mods downloaded
