Marty Jannetty (New Rockers)

Following the breakup of the Rockers in early 1992, a planned feud between Shawn Michaels and Marty Jannetty was derailed by Jannetty getting suspended following an arrest.

Jannetty returned over a year later and defeated Michaels for the Intercontinental Title before quietly losing the belt back to his former partner. He left the WWF in 1994.

In fall 1995, Jannetty made his WWF return. A brief singles run ended as Jannetty introduced Leif Cassidy, his new tag team partner. The New Rockers did not come anywhere close to the success of the original team, and Jannetty left the company in late 1996.
