Panzer VIII Maus

The Maus is an experimental Super Heavy tank built by Germany towards the end of WW2. This Tank is an example of "Wunderwaffe" or "Wonder Weapon" which are concepts or prototypes which the German government and military believed would allow them to turn the tide of WW2 in their favor. The Panzer VIII Maus is the heaviest tank ever built weighing in at 188 tons. It was armed with 2 cannons, one 75mm and one 128mm as well as a small coaxle machine gun.
