WoWs FS Dunkerque (1940)

A prop of the Dunkerque, as she appears in World of Warships.

Merry Christmas everyone. Spent a good half of December working on this, so I hope it's worth it.

THESE ARE NOT DRIVEABLE VEHICLES, AND I WILL NEVER MAKE THEM DRIVEABLE, SO PLEASE, DO NOT BOTHER ASKING.

Fully rigged, use a model tool to tamper with moving parts.

WARNING: You will need the easy bonemerge tool to put the model together. Merge the hull into the guns.

Historical Notes:

Dunkerque was the lead of her class of fast battleships, originally envisioned as battlecruisers to counter the german Deutschland-class heavy cruisers, later increased in size to full battleships. She and her sister possessed a novel weapon arrangement, with the main battery being entirely concentrated forward and a secondary battery consisting of dual-purpose guns. After the french armistice Dunkerque remained under Vichy control and was heavily damaged by the british attack in Mers-el-Kebir, remaining under repairs until her scuttling in Toulon.

Armament as of 1940 consisted of 2x4 330mm/50 M1931 guns, 3x4 and 2x2 130mm/45 M1932 guns, 5x2 37mm/54 M1925 AA guns and 8x4 13.2mm/76 Hotchkiss AA machineguns. Dunkerque could also carry 2 Loire L.130 M reconnaissance flying boats.

The Dunkerqueclass consisted of 2 ships, Dunkerque (Dunkirk) and Strasbourg.
