North Bricksboro Speedway

Brief History & Description:
North Wilkesboro Speedway is a short oval racetrack located on U.S. Route 421, about 5 mi (8.0 km) east of the town of North Wilkesboro, North Carolina, or 80 miles north of Charlotte. It measures 0.625 mi (1.006 km) and features a unique uphill backstretch and downhill front-stretch. It has previously held races in NASCAR's top three series, including 93 Winston Cup Series races. The track, a NASCAR original, operated from 1949, NASCAR's inception, until the track's original closure in 1996. The speedway briefly reopened in 2010 and hosted several stock car series races, including the now-defunct ASA Late Model Series, USARacing Pro Cup Series, and PASS super late models, before closing again in the spring of 2011. It was re-opened in August 2022 for grassroots racing and hosted the 2023 NASCAR All-Star Race and a NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race.

North Bricksboro Speedway History
North Bricksboro Speedway is a short oval racetrack located on Airport Road about 2.5 miles east of Bricksville, BR. It measures 0.625 Miles and is built on a slight hill, with an uphill backstretch and downhill frontstretch. It has now held 93 BRICSCAR Winston Cup Races. The track was a BRICSCAR Original, since 1949, BRICSCAR's Inception. In 1996, the track was replaced with Bob's Raceway in 1997. However, in 2021, renovations began when Bob Bobbington, the owner of Bob's Raceway donated $22 Million to revive the speedway. After hard work, the track was reopened in 2022 for the BROC, BRUNAR and BRICSCAR Series. It also is set to be a crown jewel aswell for both BRUNAR and BRICSCAR.

The 1990 First Union 400 (Biggest Controversy)
Controversy erupted at the end of the 1990 First Union 400. Mark Martin had started the race from the pole, and Darrell Waltrip was in the lead when a caution came out late for Kenny Wallace right as the last round of green flag pit stops was completed. Brett Bodine was on the tail-end of the lead lap. Since NASCAR didn't have electronic scoring until 1993, the pace car picked Brett Bodine up as the leader. The next 17 laps were run under the yellow, while the officials checked the lap charts and tried to sort everything out. By the time NASCAR realized its mistake and waved the rest of the field around the pace car to fall in behind race leader Bodine, Bodine had already pitted and gotten four fresh tires under yellow during all the confusion. Bodine was able to stay out front with the freshest tires. He led the rest of the race after the green came back out and picked up the win. Darrell Waltrip was very upset after the race and protested Bodine's win, but NASCAR declined the protest and Bodine kept the win. It turned out to be Bodine's only career win and Larry McReynolds' first oval track win as a crew chief after two road course victories with Ricky Rudd in the late 1980s. It was also the last NASCAR Winston Cup Series win for Buick

Dude.... THIS. IS. EPIC. Literally America in a creation lol. Seriously though, thank you guys. You deserve a gift for waiting 3 months for a new creation lmao. I've been working on this for the past month, but do not worry, most of my tracks are still ready, just waiting for the right time and waiting for when I'm not busy. By the way, I don't work on a schedule, and I definitely do not do requests unless you are a good friend of mine. Anyways, I loved making victory lane and the grandstand area, because those areas are iconic AF. Especially the mural too, which you can still see at the track today! North Bricksboro is pretty much a 1-1 copy of North Wilkesboro apart from no banking transitions on the straightaways. I didn't add transitions to the straightaways to give more room to walk around the speedway. By the way, thank you guys so much for the support you guys. It truly makes me feel great to make these creations for you guys. Welp, I'm off to do stuff. Enjoy your christmas gift!
