Vanilla Armor Colors

Description
if you feel lack of customization options in the game, you are not alone :)
this mod restore coloring functionality for vanilla armors when it fits (blackened versions of armors with "stealth" bonuses stays black - immersion of vanilla game must be preserved) and should work with other coloring mods without conflicts

List of changes
Mod let you color (via restored colormap or enabled color function):
Cargopants
Halfpants
Chainmails and chain shirts
Hiver shirts and Hiver chain shirts
Leather shirts in all variations except black
Plate jacket and white plate jacket
Martial arts bindings
Ninja Rags
Samurai Armor
TINCAN - helmet that made you look like lego person
Mercenary leather armor
Conscript Leather armor
Unholy chestplate (i know its black in vanilla, but don't have stealth bonuses because its plate armor)
Gi Pants and Gi robes :)
iron hats and armored hoods

Usage instruction
Mod use Vanilla color functionality:
means you need to find NPC with specific colors
or change your faction color to something you like

is it possbile to give the normal Ronin armor (the white one) the same coloring function, or does it simpy not have one.

in many of my mods and even descriptions i assume players know a lot of mechanics and even engine structure, this is why things like Performance mods are very hard to work on, bcs even if mod was ready 2 weeks ago i still need to explain people what it does like it would be their 1st time turning on computer

AH ok. So capture npcs that have the colors i want, give them my gear and the colors will change to their faction color, and stays that color when I take it back? I did not know that was even a feature. What an obscure way to dye things but if it works it works lol.

One of the images is this list of factions/NPC
basically in vanilla game you take Colorable armor and give it to NPC with colors you wanna take
than take this armor back to yourself now with changed color

Mod just let you color more armors by like adding 20 more pieces as valid registries

So then maybe im not using the mod correctly, apologies for my incompetence and a thousand thanks for being so patient with me. I want the colors T_T. How exactly do you change or choose the colors? And whats this about changing faction colors? Im def big dumb dumb because i didn't even know factions had colors. How would I go about changing the faction colors? :steamfacepalm:

by itself mod let you color samurai armor (regular) and conscript leather armor and much more

I can post my mod list, if that would help? Most of them are separate mods that do different things to help reduce conflicts but maybe i missed something?

you might have conflict with another mod?? or maybe author let you color, but only empire samurai chestplate and samurai platelegs?

Am I missing something? How can I dye Samurai Armor Black? Even after import not sure why the mod doesn't seem to be working.
