JNR WaFu 29500 covered brake van

The WaFu 29500 class is a Japanese National Railways' covered brake van that was introduced in 1955. With a decked guard's compartment and a 5-ton cargo compartment, it became the standard style after the WWII. The postwar Wafu 29000, with its narrow guard's compartment, was also converted to the same style as the Wafu 29500, and the prewar Wafu 25000 became the Wafu 35000, similar in form to the Wafu 29500.

In addition to the newly built WaFu 25000, the mod includes a WaFu 35000, a modified prewar WaFu 25000. Both have a different number of windows and different tail lamp styles. Both include reversed variations.
