GT-200 "Marengo" All Terrain Vehicle

The GT-200 "Marengo" was the logical next-step in ground vehicles following the GT-101 "Matsukaze". While not nearly as fast (although still reaching a respectable 50 m/s over bumpy terrain), the GT-200 sacrifices nothing, capable of carrying an extra passenger, weapons and a full size antenna for communication with ground, air and orbital assets. Designed primarily to transport marksman teams, the GT-200 now finds extensive use in the civilian market as a compact transport vehicle.

• None in Stock Configuration: 1x antenna on the back for long range communications.

• Fast: While not as fast as the GT-101, the GT-200 reaches in excess of 50m/s during operation and interfaces easily with the UV-119 for longer range missions.
  
• Cheap: Much like the GT-101, the GT-200 is capable of being fabricated for next to nothing (eschewing the complex nuclear power schemes found on similar vehicles for simple batteries) using only a single welder.
  
• Versatile: Two batteries, weapon storage, a passenger bench and a full-power antenna (easily swapped for an ore detector) enable the "Marengo" to be an ideal element for scouting, engineering and exploration operations.

This ship uses the Wasteland, Warfare 2, Sparks of the Future and Automatons DLCs. Only the Automatons DLC is critical.

This was actually created well before the GT-101 and was my first attempt at creating a small land vehicle. While I think the GT-101 is my preferred light transport simply because of its speed, the Marengo sees far more use in about a million different variants for transporting passengers, mounting small point defense turrets etc.
