Turn off setting cosmetics for customers (Eg. Halloween, North Pole, etc.) through `Options => PreferenceSystem => Customer Cosmetics Switch`

Does not affect customer type cosmetics (Eg. Couples and First Date in Romantic)

Do it in the pause menu, not main menu. As per the screenshot
