Note: You will need Winrar or 7-zip to extract the files, in addition to creating a Nexus account to have full access to download mods.

Important: I recommend making a backup of your save, and you can do it in two ways.

Whether creating another save in a slot, or being more 2000s and going:

AppData\LocalLow\CAPCOM\ROCKMAN X DiVE Offline

Anyway, I did some tests, and if you happen to uninstall a mod that is equipped on a character, install the mod again and then unequip it, then uninstall it.

This helped me when testing skins, maybe it helps if you didn't make a backup

True News: updating and adding new things, also changed the place of Yamme's Buffs and raid boss

You will need three files:

Unpacked GameAssembly Binary[www.nexusmods.com]

After extracting them, go to the game directory located at:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\MEGA_MAN_X_DiVE_Offline

or if you are lazy: library>>>right click on game>>>manage>>>explore local files


Open the orange client folder, and place the GameAssembly.dll file on top of the patch. Or you can drag the patch to the game folder and run. (yeah, i forgot that)

After finishing the process, open BepInEx DOTS and place all its files in the game directory

Run the game and a prompt window will appear. Wait for it to finish the process, until the game starts normally.

Finally, take the plugins folder which is inside the Tangerine folder, and place it inside the BepInEx folder which is in the game directory

Now, create a folder called mods inside BepInEx

Without much secret, every mod you want to use will be placed here. Depending on the instructions, other folders will be used

And most importantly, all installed items will appear in the store, but in a session called CUSTOM. Just get into it and be happy, but skins only appeared in the character selection tab


Also, if you want to disable the console when starting the game:

open the BepInEx.cfg file in \BepInEx\config\ and search for [Logging.Console]. Below it, you will find this:
## Enables showing a console for log output.
# Setting type: Boolean
# Default value: false
Enabled = true

Change the last line to Enabled = false and the console will be disabled.

This is about the mods that I see being released, and that have been bothering me, is i just my opinion about it.

Anyway, several mods have been released, and that's great! the more weapons, characters, things, the better.

The problem is the balance factor, I think everyone hated how Next Dive X was a broken character, as well as several others.

And many used it to finally have a chance at PVP or high levels of PVE.

The problem is, several incredible mods released are basically being a Next Dive X, destroying bosses and enemies without giving any chance to have fun.

Not only that, mods that modify the stats of weak characters basically make them an alternate version of next dive X or dive characters.

Don't get me wrong, I love several mods released, but I stopped using several after noticing how broken they are, the offline version itself I found very easy, even in challenge mode.

I believe that one problem is how the balancing was done by Capcom in this version.

I remember a conversation with an old player, in which he said he loved Aile (ZXA), and really, she was fun to use, powerful but not invincible. And it's a pain to play against someone, because it's always X Dante, Vergil, or Next Dive

In my case, I've always loved Gate, strong but not invincible. Well balanced, but I only played until I got 100 battles in arena, since nobody likes dying in one hit.

I already said this, but repeating it. I don't recommend certain mods when you start playing, the game itself is quite easy, with some mods it is MEGA EASY

I was feeling empty when I finished the campaign due to ease, I hope that someday a mod will be released to improve the game's difficulty.

For me, the mod that best changed this game was Yamme's Buffs, as I can make better use of several characters, and still have some challenge.

One example was zero nightmare, I always liked it, but it was basically rubbish.

Yamme fixed it, finally making it playable and fun.

The focus is so much on balancing, that with each update something is removed or added, Omega could recover 21% of HP based on its attack, now it is 17%

You can see how the creator or creators want something fair and fun.

This is just my opinion, and a tip for modders. Make a mod, but don't make it equal to a cheat.

In my view, i think this makes you lose the full potential of your work.

We live in a world where X dive has an off version and a demo, and corrupted has none of that..

This only means one thing: half life 3 is confirmed
