[REC] Spirit class light fighter

The success of the Daemon class of fighters along with the new fighter program behind it spurred Republic Navy command to commission a new light fighter of the same caliber. The idea behind a smaller, lighter version of the Daemon was that it would be able to be more easily stored aboard ships with landing pads or retrofitted hangars that were usually too small to store larger ships. Modifying pre-existing fighters was already commonplace, however new advances in weaponry and ship design would lead to the Spirit class light fighter being built from the group up.

Designed to fit primarily on landing pads and small hangars, Spirits are nimble, difficult to hit due to their small size, and are equipped a weapon loadout good for both anti large-and-small grid ships. They're most commonly seen aboard ships with tight landing pads and hangars, such Nemesis and Orion class vessels.
