灰背隼直升机是欧洲阿古斯塔·维斯特兰公司研制的一种多用途直升机。该机机载设备先进，具有全天候作战能力，可用于反潜、护航、搜索救援、空中预警和电子对抗。灰背隼直升机于1987年6月成功首飞，1996年批量生产。后有多种型号交付英国、意大利、加拿大、日本、印度等国服役。


The AW101 helicopter, also known as the "Merlin," is a multi-purpose helicopter developed by AgustaWestland (now Leonardo) in Europe. It is equipped with advanced onboard equipment and has all-weather operational capabilities. The AW101 can be used for anti-submarine warfare, escort missions, search and rescue operations, airborne early warning, and electronic warfare. The AW101 helicopter successfully made its maiden flight in June 1987 and entered mass production in 1996. Various models of the AW101 have been delivered to countries such as the United Kingdom, Italy, Canada, Japan, and India for active service.
