Japan Government Railway 2-6-2 Class C58 Steam Locomotive

-----Breif history of Steam Locomotives class C58-----

Class C58 was built from 1938 to replace old 8620, 9600, and C50 classes.
In order to support the larger boiler, they were changed from a 2-6-0 to a 2-6-2 wheel arrangement, the only one in Japan.
Because of its moderate speed, tractive effort, and weight, it was used all Japan and was preserved after its retirement.
Among them, C58 239 was used as SL-Ginga on the Kamaishi Line, and C58 363 as Paleo Express on the Chichibu Railway.
