Tales of Symphonia Battle Pass

Description
The Duel-Wielding Protagonist of Tales of Symphonia slashs into Smack Studio!
This is my first SS Fighter.
Lloyd possesses potential combos and most of his aerial moves are finishers.

Staying true to his game, Lloyd has many Artes that Tales fans can recognize, such
as Demon Fang and Rising Falcon!

MAJOR UPDATE - Alternate Artes and Voice!

Lloyd now has his English voice from the game!

A new tech that involves pressing taunt + Special!
Explained further down the description.

Heres a quick review of most of his attacks!


A - Tiger Blade

When you press A for the third time, Lloyd does Tiger Blade, a quick follow-up of a
up and down slash.


B - Demon Fang

Lloyds first arte, he slashes the ground, causing a shock wave to go through, both
the slash and the fang deals low damage.


Side B - Sword Rain

Lloyd begins to thrust 6 times at a rapid rate, dealing damage.


Down B - Guardian

This was supposed to be a super armor effect that decreases damage (and maybe it will
in a future update <_<) for now its a counter that deals heavy damage when struck.

Neutral Aerial - Tempest

An attack that deals good damage and will be 75% of your combos. Make use of Tempest
to the fullest when locking enemies into your combos!


Down Aerial - Rising Falcon

A quick decsending move that has a weak spike. Use this to get on the stage when
your getting juggled!
(P.S This move took forever to get the descending part right ,-,)

Ultra - Mystic Arte: Divine Justice

Fuseing his twin blades into one, Lloyd smites the earth, causeing a roaring flame
to rise up. This move has alot of killing power and will kill light-weights.
Lloyd cannot be damaged during this move.

Alternate Artes is a special move that is triggered by pressing Taunt and Special.
P.S I added this to make Lloyd unique from other swordfighters.
Heres the list of such moves:

Up Special - Psi Tempest: With a slightly vertical decrease but a massive
horizontal launch, Psi is a way to get into the action and (possibly) prevent edge guarding!

Side Special - Beast: A two hit attack, begins with bashing your victim then striking your
with ferocity. Dealing large damage.'

Neutral Special - Double Demon Fang: Man, I must be a genius! DOUBLE DEMON FANG!

As a weakness, it was intentional, Lloyd cannot grab, due to having his hands full
with his blades.


Lloyd Sprite belongs to Tales of Worlds 3, and voice from the original game, all belongs to

After returning from RoA, I reworked on the hitboxes to be more accurate, so it'll be more fairer, this rework will also apply for Presea too!

Oh my goodness, are you for real because that would be so amazing! ALL of them? Presea being up next is unexpectedly exciting, there's going to be a lot of deveastation and eternal damnations going on with her! :D Her knockback is probably going to be crazy lmfao!

@Demon Lord I am glad you like Lloyd!:btd6thumbsup: I am planning to make all the members of ToS into SS.

Presea is the next one coming up, as a hard hitter just like in ToS and I will honor her Artes just as I did with Lloyd, as a HUGE ToS fan, I will make everyone as close is I can get to making their moveset into SS.

His resized sprite does look great now, awesome work! He's just as fun to play as I remember, too!

Still crossing my fingers that you add in one or two more Symphonia characters if it interests you! Personally I think Colette would be fun, I believe she has a sprite sheet somewhere. Sadly I think Raine or Genis have nothing online to work with and might need custom sprites if someone ever made them. Kratos and Zelos definitely have sprites like Lloyd, though.

Oh I didn't notice at first but you added extra artes based on the taunt and special similar to the actual Tales of Symphonia game. For it being your first SS character, you really made this extra special and loyal to Symphonia! Nice job.

Awesome, I hope to see more Symphonia characters or Tales of characters made by people in general! In Rivals of Aether someone only made a Kratos Aurion from Symphonia. Lloyd is a bit small but that's not too much of an issue.
