FGC Serie 211

Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya's 211 series, built by MACOSA & MTM, provided service on the Llobregat-Anoia line between 1987 and 2009. They were the first trains purchased by FGC, in a joint order with those of the 111 standard gauge series for the Barcelona-Vallès line, and were the first step in the complete renovation of the rolling stock, quite aged at that time.
