UT Announcer

Description
OVERVIEW
Adds a voice announcer for killing sprees and killing streaks. GODLIKE!

HOW TO USE
1. Subscribe to this mod.
2. Start a server with Mutators enabled, and with "Scripting Enabled" turned on. Requires the Party Pass.
3. Have fun!

NOTES
1. In order for the mod to work, the server must have Mutators enabled, and within the Mutators settings, "Scripting Enabled" must be turned on. Starting a mutated server requires the Party Pass DLC.
2. In order for the mod to work, the host must have the mod installed. If you're joining a scripted server but the host does not have the mod, it will not work for you either.

CUSTOMIZABLE ANNOUNCERS
You can change your announcer by typing in the game chat: !announcer X, whereas "X" is the name of the announcer you want to change into (case sensitive). Announcers currently shipped with this mod are:

  • Male
  • Female
  • Glados

CREATE YOUR OWN ANNOUNCERS
You can also create your own announcers:

1. Prepare all your sound files. They must be of .ogg format, and correspond to the following names (case sensitive):

File Name
Used For
killingspree.ogg
3 Player Killing Spree
dominating.ogg
4 Player Killing Spree
multikill.ogg
5 Player Killing Spree
unstoppable.ogg
6 Player Killing Spree
wickedsick.ogg
7 Player Killing Spree
monsterkill.ogg
8 Player Killing Spree
godlike.ogg
9 Player Killing Spree
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.ogg
10+ Player Killing Spree
doublekill.ogg
2 kills in a row
triplekill.ogg
3 kills in a row
ultrakill.ogg
4 kills in a row
rampage.ogg
5+ kills in a row
firstblood.ogg
First kill in the game
humiliation.ogg
Pushing a player to death
teamkiller.ogg
Killing a teammate (in team gamemodes)

If a sound file doesn't exist, it will default to the male one.

2. Navigate to Steam\steamapps\common\MicroWorks\MicroWorks_Data\StreamingAssets. If it doesn't exist, create a folder called "Announcers", and add another folder inside of it named after your announcer.

3. Move all your sound files to the newly created folder.

4. Reload the game and type in the chat !announcer X, whereas X is the name of the announcer you've created.

So, for example, if my announcer sound files are in Steam\steamapps\common\MicroWorks\MicroWorks_Data\StreamingAssets\Announcers\MyAnnouncer, I'd enter "!announcer MyAnnouncer" in the game chat to switch to it.
