Beskrivning
The Angurvadal-class Guided Missile Destroyer Mk II is a warship modernization-concept, introduced by Valkyrja - Maintenance & Engineering. This vessel is intended to eventually replace the outdated predecessor version.

Keeping its combat-support role in mind, the Angurvadal-class features a lightweight hull to maintain mobility and low costs of production. Since the battlefield conditions have changed significantly since the first iteration was introduced, the Mk II replaces its Rocket Launchers with a set of six Artillery-turrets, arranged in a centerline superfiring layout. In addition, six custom-built Gatling Ball-turrets, provide the Angurvadal with a potent defense screen.

The Angurvadal’s new signature weapon however consists of 4 Launch Tubes, capable to produce and fire guided missiles.

Approved for 1G Planetary Gravity (ladden, vertical landing and takeoff), exceed at own risk.

This ship was heavily inspired by "The Expanse" novels and tv-series. It comes with many design-elements from this fandom. This includes an interior that is aligned perpendicular to the main source of thrust and the Thruster-layout leans heavily towards a 'flip-and-burn'-style of piloting.

This item is only partially survival-ready! It is fully conveyor-linked, thruster-damage compatible and uses no mods. However, this ship utilizes multiple subgrids, which have to be manually attached if you want to build this ship in survival.

You could probably repurpose the storage area below the missile bay, or cramp it into the hangar.

Do you think there's room for a full refinery and if so, where would it fit?

Hey @Holle,
I had two support drones planned for this ship's hangar, but their performance was rather poor, so I did not include them. Should I manage to fix them any time soon, I will likely update the blueprint or upload them separately. You can find multiple small utility-vessels, as well as a small combat ship named "Murderpod" in my collections, which will fit inside the hangar.

what ships do you have for that small hangar in the back? can u upload some BP for those? looks so small i bet you got a nice solution for that. thanks anyway.

Single handedly coolest design ever. Loved the first ship, I thought it was peak design right there, but I'm left speechless again with the angular remaster. Even the little details go crazy, the detail in the original was great but did feel cramped in places, but not here. Every room is full of life, even the torpedo bay with its cute lil component shelves and the tree in the recreation area, and still manages to have so much space to breathe and fly around in.

Not a fan of ball turrets / torpedo subgrid stuff, so I swapped out the turrets for gatlings/rockets and with how roomy the torpedo bay is, I found enough room to put 16 salvoed artillery cannons to make it the artillery destroyer this hull was always meant to be. Firing all at once is also a fun :P

Only note is I think the deck 5 recreation area should be renamed. recreation area sounds too... comfy... for a warship. Aught to just call it crew quarters. A much more dull and grey name for a grey warship
