Duo, the owl mascot of the language-learning app Duolingo. He's here to teach everyone a lesson. And make sure everyone remembers to do their lessons! Being an owl, he enjoys the skies. Thanks to the gift of flight, he can jump an additional time in the air. Be ready for a flurry of aerial strikes!

Specials:
Neutral Special: What Does This Word Mean?
Summons a word that either means electricity or fire to attack the opponent using a word with the corresponding element.

Up Special: Owl Become A Rocket!
Duo uses lame wordplay to launch himself upward. For some reason, it doesn't seem to have much lift. It does hurt if you get caught by it, though.

Side Special: Spanish Vanish
Duo uses the Spanish word for 'Vanish' to disappear momentarily, reappearing shortly afterward. Useful for horizontal recovery. Stronger when he reappears.

Down Special: Doggish Counter
Duo tries to get the opponent to correct a mistake. If the opponent hits Duo, he'll counterattack with the correct answer. If not, he'll be left with the wrong answer and become vulnerable.

(Creator's notes: I wanted to make a joke character, so it's Duo's turn! Thanks again to everyone in the McLeodGaming Discord. Most of the faces you see drawn were actually done by Beat! It was fun to make, but he's not the most complicated character. Thanks to the simplicity, though, he wasn't painful to animate. I hope you have fun with him!)
