Description
A compact patrol craft intended by the Coalition to help keep waterways clear of hostiles. The interior is sparse and lacking comforts, making longer patrols an unpopular assignment. It is lightly armed and swift, and includes an engine boost that can aid in escapes. An experienced crew will make best use of the limited power in the grid.

This sub is classified as a Tier 1 scout. It uses vanilla parts and does not require mods.

Features:
Engine boost - At the press of a button you can dump the power from the supercapacitors, providing the sub with a significant burst of speed. A captain will have to make use of this wisely as it will drain the the power from the other defenses.

Hatch override and drain - The nav is equipped with a door and hatch override that will open doors and drain the sub into the ballast. It will also activate pumps to drain the reactor and crew rooms.

Adaptable power grid - This sub includes a pair of batteries that can be manually added or removed from the grid. This means that the captain can choose when to charge the batteries or when to supplement the reactor. The supercapacitors' recharge rates are also adustable at the helm, giving a captain control of where the power goes.

Design notes:
This sub is meant to be a starting option for experienced players and smaller crews. It is also a good option for a solo player, as a captain has a lot of control right from the cockpit. It has more features than the default starting subs and gives more mechanics to play with while getting through the early game. It is balanced by its power grid and requires players to be aware of how to work around reactor limitations.
"The seamoth from Subnautica meets the oldschool Batmobile and wanted an edgy name."

I'd have called it The Beak rather than the Fang from the looks of it.
