update: hydrophobic spray is added :D

I really loved the immersion Starburst brings into the game, but theres always a small pet peeve of mine about Starbound is that these NPC just LIVES on hazardous planets without any problem or explanation as of why, same for merchants and bandits and etc- The fact that no store in the galaxy sells hand warmers and COLD WATER while spacefaring is normalized in the Starbound universe, and the fact my local 7-11 sells both is just funky to me

Adds mild hazard protection consumables to the Infinity Express store inventory. This mod was intended for personal use, but thinking someone out there might want this + need to add this to my mod collection, so here yall go

For the rest of the items; Emergency oxygens can be found in hiking stores, carbon powder can be found in some pharmacies, cloth padding is self explanatory, and you'd think an intergalactic convenience store is at least going to acknowledge the need for anti-radiation for spacefarers right

unsure what you mean, but I CAN speak chinese so yea

chinese localization might be impossible bc this is just a patch for a mod

@IndigoTail check the object file for the mining shop with the bears-- it has examples of items being locked behind the story quests


you could also make invisible quests that are started when you pick up a material (like the ship licenses, except the quest doesn't pop up or show in the quest log) and have that be the condition for the hazard protection related to that material!!

I was really thinking about this the other day, I love the planetary hazard effects but they do make it harder to go around what I would assume are considered early-game planets.

I might make another mod that make deadly hazard protection buyable though, just need to think on the execution
