Phantasia and the Underground Realm

Description
Version 1.0
Created with Dom 6 RMG and edited by Welzi.
175 provinces on Pantocrators plane thereof 149 land provinces and 26 sea provinces.
Fixed Underground Layer "The Underground Realm" with about 60 different cave provinces in 4 cave systems and 10 gateways to the main plane.
The map is suitable for 10 to 14 players of which 2 can be cave nations and 1 underwater nation. One Island start suitable for Phaeacia.
On Pantocrators plane besides the island start possibility there are only starts with at least 4 connections. In the underground there are (few) three connection starts but most are 4 and more connection starts.
Enjoy, have fun and cheers!

Hi Dere!
Thank you for your kind message. Much appreciated. With regard to your question: If you enter the command #nodeepcaves in the map file, then the game generates no cave layer and uses your own or non cave layer if thre is one (thus it is possible to play without a second plane at all). If you leave that command out then, depending on your choice at game setup at underground layout (none, random, small caves, etc.) a layer is created by RMG. You can leave out that choice by ##nodeepchoice and then there is never a RMG cave layout.
Have a great day!
Cheers

"Too many provinces=/=175"..

Meanwhile, me making maps for myself with 400-800 provinces.. :bad_beauty:

Anywhom.. I came in here to say nice gen, and to ask a question!

Do the maps generate an underground layer at game kickoff if you don't make an underground layer yourself, or are you forced to make one for every RGM/Blueprint map you might make?

Thanks in advance if you read this, regardless of if you know the answer or not; and happy godding around!

Yeah I've been playing since 3 but that's besides the point. I just feel that in Dominions 5 and 6 with the cataclysm option, lots of longer games with bigger maps have fallen the wayside due games ending much sooner, so smaller maps feel better imho

Well I am playing Dominions since 10 years and I think 12 provinces is too few and not much fun. Let's agree to disagree here mate.
Funny thing is that you can play the map with many more players than 14 as there are no fixed starts so if you want to play crowded you even can. Cheers

From my experiences in MP, having more than average of 12 provinces per player tends to make really awful games.

Well the sea provinces are not in one place there are a lot of lakes and the caves are divided in 4 seperate sections and the two main caves have multiple entries so that the cave nations are not left alone for long. Thus imo and from my games the map works fine. Perhaps you just give it a try. Happy to hear your experiences ;-) Cheers

I mean 26 sea provinces for one UW nation and 60 cave provinces for 2 cave nations does seem a bit much.

Hi mate! No I do not think so and furthermore that depends always on the number of players does it not? ;-) Cheers
