EA P'ktal, Temporary Home v1.0c

In the ancient past, a neogi deathspider crashed on this world. With no way to repair the vessel, the neogi settled there and found P’ktal ('Temporary Home' - a rough translation from Neogi). P’ktal is based on two concepts - trade and slavery, and the concepts often overlap. The neogi get their chitinous hands on every exotic ware and every kind of slave, so P’ktal is a tempting destination for merchants looking for rare wares, and for slavers. Common outsiders that have something to offer are tolerated, but they should be careful lest they be kidnapped and enslaved. Almost every neogi has an umber hulk slave. These brutes serve simultaneously for the tunneling, transportation, and protection. The neogi mostly live underground, but they do have several surface settlements, some of which serve as trade hubs for trade with surface-dwelling races.
