Description
CV Class 7, CPU Core 9, Unlock Level 25 - Reforged Eden Only

Primary roles: Carrier, Combat, Shield, Warp, Storage, Farm, Utility, Upgradable

The Synth-Imperial Battle Carrier was designed to be a SV/HV carrier that can also be upgraded with increased shielding and weaponry however It comes stock with just basic defenses and a RE advanced shield. The ship has a lot of potential upgrades depending on it is used but it primary function is a carrier.

Stock Features

The Synth-IBC comes stock with a advanced shield, 60 light year warp drive, 10 minigun turrets, med bay, o2 and dispensers, 36 grow plot farm (grow plots not included), armor locker and repair, long range radar, 4x640K storage, 2x320K storage, 2x320K ammo bays, 2 advanced constructors, food processors and fridges, and a few cargo boxes.

Upgrade options

There are many upgrade options and a info LCD inside the ship (front of hangar) that lists the locations and parts it was designed to hold. This includes: 2 additional advanced generators, 2 drive thrusters, 6 launcher mount points, 15 additional turret locations, 8 small and 8 medium shield parts, repair bay and console, 8 large and 2 small solar panels, 36 grow plots (grow lights included), 2 additional Constructor/deconstructors, and 3 retractable artillery turrets.

Offense and defense

The hull is built with steel and structural frame blocks. The front area and stock generator areas also have xeno backing blocks especially in front of the ship. It comes stock with 10 minigun turrets but can be upgraded with addition 6 launchers, 15 additional turrets, and 3 retractable artillery turrets. Also there are upgrade locations for 8 small and 8 medium shield parts as well as two addition advanced generator locations.

11. 4 passenger seats, drone hatch, large hangar area, front entry ramp
12. Locations to add 8 small and 8 medium shield parts
13. Locations to add 2 forward drive thrusters (XL)
14. Part upgrade Info LCD with P-menu control. (located in front hangar area)

Notes: This ship is for Reforged Eden mainly because of the blocks used building the hull which are 3x1 ratio structural ramp/frame blocks. Trying to load into vanilla would cause much of the hull to disappear as well as several other parts.

Another possible use for the ship is to fill in the 3 retractable artillery bays with blocks and then add dense mining drills while also converting a 320K storage bay to harvest. Just an option.

Hey @jrandall, I love this design of yours to death, so I had to make an RE2 conversion. Maybe you'd like to check it out. Comments and suggestions greatly appreciated. Of course it's supposed to meet your standards.

Long time fan of *most* of your work @jrandall - I know someone else mentioned the doors for the large solar panels being in the wrong spot (wish I saw that before spending almost 2 hours trying to figure it out) - so I got them all in now but there's never any solar power being used, and I think that's because of the solid blocks above it, are we supposed to remove the blocks above those or what? (sorry, kind of new to the game still - still learning things)

Thank you Amicus, Myrmidon, CrazyZ, and AlexS! :) @Amicus, the QA room is for Quantum and Auxiliary cores. Parts obtained in RE game play to increase the CPU well beyond the core 9 CPU. I hope that helps, and thanks again all!

If we remove half of side thrusters and one down thruster there will be CPU for shield parts and more weapons to start with and earn some drone parts for AUX cores.

Excellent CV. Plenty of space for a medium carrier adequate cargo and plenty of mounting points for turrets, to use it in combat. I like the fact that you experiment with new designs than the usual you do and you still give us awesome results. Thank you one more time. :steamthumbsup:
