(LWOTC) Unofficial Cryoweapons overhaul

Cryogenic weapons are one of the least used weapon types in MJ, for multitude of reasons, aside from not working whatsoever against Frost Legion, which happens to be like 20% of all enemies in MJ, they have complex requirement or have weaker stats for LWOTC and it doesnt help that bitterfrost as an effect is weaker against Advent till the third tier effect because Advent doesnt have to constantly run around and work with timers, while XCOM has to.

This isnt really the fault of Mitzruti, given their mods werent made for Long War in the first place and we cant really expect such foresight.

This mod, which is fan made and not part of the collection, aims to change some of the problems. This part is standalone of much bigger mod that is in the making that will be addressing more problems of MJ but i wont discuss it here.


TLDR of what this mod does

- All cryo weapons now use Cryolite and are cheaper in other resources, Cryolite is part of Frost Legion and it drops on full salvage missions with Frost Legion units
- Bitterfrost protocol is changed, now it no longer gates everything, it only now gates top tier cryo weapons like plasma tier cryolator, frost vest and frost ammo, everything else unlocks as your main tech progresses
- Cryo grenades are now more up to par for being a LWOTC weapon, they are now frag/plasma equivalents, they dont destroy loot and have +1 armor penetration on top of that.
- Gatecrasher now awards +15 cryolite if you start a new campaign...which you might want to do, not sure how well some of the changes will translate, wont crash anything but unlocks might go on a riot.


Compability
If you have all the requirements, its pretty self contained, miss some of them and...i dont know what will happen.

Almost all of my changes are completely visible in config files, feel free to play with them as you want and change them around
