GOM - Open Fisherman 45

Description

Started making this two days before the Fishing Rod update, since there wasn't much purpose to small-ish boats so far. Was a very enjoyable build and quickly done, finished most of the intended features now and open for more suggestions! Hope you enjoy!

Update

Improved Sonar
Prettyfied the bottom left and right info panels a bit
Added handheld remote to control the fish market gantry without having to leave your boat.
Select 4 (default) on the panel for the fish market gantry. Channel on the handheld remote doesn't matter.
Operate it with WASD to control the arm, 1 toggles the pump/vacuum.
Works with all in game gantries.
You can also use it for your own creations:

Operation
For cruising without holding W, simply use the trim function by pressing ALT+W. You can reset the trim to 0 by pressing ALT+W+S and releasing ALT last.

This boat is stable up to 50% headwind, maybe a wee bit more, which seems reasonable.
My main goal was to make it stable enough while still acting like a boat. Feel free to check out my Wavemaster 1600 if you need something stable for 100% headwinds (acts more like on rails than an actual boat).

Navigation System
Added all static fish market locations to the database, so you can quickly select your fish market of choice!

Currently too many features to go into detail here, feel free to find further info on its workshop page:

Sonar
The Map Mode is the one most fleshed out, click next to a target to see its distance and altitude relative to the sonar in the top left corner. Works well enough to find stationary floating crates, sunken treasure chests and sharks by observing the monitor.

Targets are color coded by depth.
Blue = -10m to 0m
Green = -50m to -10m
Yellow = -230m to -50m
Red = below -230m

Sonar stores target data of the last 5 scans to make movement visible. Makes it easy to spot if something is moving straight towards you, since AI vessels don't do this it's either a Kraken or Megalodon coming over for a quick snack.

Briefly hold the Ping button to enable autoping, which will repeatedly scan the displayed area on screen, frequency depends on current zoom level, more zoomed in = faster pings.

The center button centers the map on the boat location.

Click and hold on the map to scroll around.

Half Duplex Radio
You can receive audio from any frequency.
Set the frequency on the keypad above the captains seat.
The right side Panel will indicate incoming and outgoing audio.
Test incoming audio by setting the keypad to 0 (default), pick up a handheld radio (stored in the rear of the boat) and set its frequency to 0, then click LMB to transmit. The boats radio panel will indicate incoming audio.

To send audio from the boats radio you need to hold the boats radio panel PTT (push to talk) button AND at the same time push the games voice chat button (make sure it's bound to a key in the control settings of SW). If both buttons are pushed, the outgoing audio indicator will light up (can be seen in one of the images), indicating working functionality.

WIP
Sonar display heavily WIP. Fixed it up a bit
Cleaned up the fuel / range monitor
Open for further ideas!

Thanks Thales.
Takes a bit getting used to, now I don't want to miss it.
Screen space comes at a premium. Higher screen resolutions would be a godsend, as well as lifting the 4k char limit...
