Otus (Owlboy-DST!)

Adds Otus, from Owlboy, into the world of Don't Starve Together! He's crash landed and is on a journey to get back home.



Health: 130 | Hunger: 130 | Sanity: 175 | .7x- 1.3x speed | 1.25x hunger drain

• Equipped with ancient owl technology: Starts with several unique items to help him survive in the Constant.
  
• Faster on a Full Stomach: His speed ranges from 30% faster to 30% slower than default depending on his hunger level.
  
• Can't Talk: Otus is mute, and isn't much of a pantomime either. He won't be able to warn the player if something is wrong.
  
• Is weak but brave: Only deals 75% damage per hit.

A teleporter made by the ancient owls. There is a large crack down the middle.

• Starting item (Crafted near a Celestial Orb if lost)
  
• Can't teleport Otus's friends around anymore, but can teleport Otus anywhere onscreen instead.
  
• Drains 15 sanity per use

Otus's Owl Cloak. It's been torn up pretty badly from the fall.

• Starting item (Crafted near a Celestial Orb if lost)
  
• No longer capable of flight. Increases movement speed by 15% when equipped.

A hat for the closest of bros.

• Recipe: Cut Grass x5, Gold Nugget x1
  
• Doesn't have any special abilities, but it makes Otus happy to wear.

For high flying adventurers only!

• Recipe: Straw Hat x1, Gears x2
  
• Gives 90% wetness resistance

A knit cap for a bona fide spider.

• Recipe: Silk x10, Hound's Tooth x2
  
• Makes spiders neutral while equipped, but other creatures may become aggressive instead!

The mark of a true owl!

• Owl Cloak x1, Silk x10, Nightmare Fuel x5 (Prestihatitator)
  
• Increases speed by 35% and absorbs 95% of physical damage when equipped.
  
• Continuously drains sanity while equipped and when damage is taken.
  
• Upon breaking, turns back into an ordinary Owl Cloak.

This mod is a port of the very first mod I ever made! You can find it HERE.

What is different between this version and the original? Not much. Otus's art was given some slight improvements (though not a ton, because I lost the original files ^^;) and a few items had their lineart cleaned up.
The Gallant Hat's perk was changed due to the inability to transfer the mapreveal ability over to DST. Besides that and a few minor stat tweaks, however, everything else has remained the same.

I planned on reworking him for DST with brand new perks and abilities, but ultimately did not have the time or motivation to see it through (see: the 6 years between the original mod and this port...) This mod's design is rather simplistic as a result, but I hope fans of Owlboy can find enjoyment with it anyway!
