Description
The K2, also known as the Black Panther, is a South Korean main battle tank designed by the Agency for Defense Development and manufactured by Hyundai Rotem.
The tank's design began in the 1990's and entered mass production in 2013. As of recent, South Korea has, supposedly, over 400 of these armoured vehicles and are due to export them to Poland in due time.
The K2 was designed to replace the very old M48's and the rapidly ageing K1 MBT's in South Korea's inventory.
