Description
This mod aims to enhance the importance of trade in Victoria 3. During the Victorian era, international trade flourished, boosting nations' wealth. However, in the game, players often shy away from extensive trading because of high bureaucracy and convoy costs. This mod addresses that by making trade centers produce some bureaucracy and convoys for themselves, encouraging players to prioritize trade as a key strategy.

currently (1.7.0) causes CTD when opening the map after selecting a country or going to the map to select one in sandox mode.

Hey just wanted to double check, your mod only changes the 11_private_infrastructure.txt for trade centers, no other changes? Just looking through potential overlapping files for several mods that I am using and I see you have lots of other files in the same production_methods folder.

I think I will reduce the bureaucracy by 40% and see how it works

I think the main trouble I have with this mod is that it doesn't effect tax capacity, so I will rely on the trade centres for Bureaucracy but I would keep game start tax capacity. By Mid game, I can't collect any taxes which hobbles the long run development of the economy

I disagree. I think, late game, this should replace government buildings completely, especially when you're building them just for the bureaucracy. It should be a net even. Government buildings should only be needed if you need bureaucracy for generals, admirals, tax, etc.

Did a campaign with 40 years, and the amount of bureaucracy seems overtuned, convoys are fine!
