Background:
The Plasan SandCat "Stormer" was designed and unveiled to the public in 2004. It was made to transport and for police use. Its protection consisted of a composite featuring ceramics, steel, and Kevlar. Several iterations of the SandCat were made, including a SandCat with a SPIKE launcher on the back of the vehicle as well as a roof mounted unmanned MG turret. Since 2004, it has been bought from Israel's Plasan by many countries around the world including Canada, South Korea, Nigeria, and Mexico. It has seen use in the Second Nagorno-Karabakh war and the Mexican Drug War.
