what is conscript in half life 2 beta?
"Conscript" refers to a cut character and enemy type that was initially planned for inclusion in the game but was ultimately removed. The Conscripts were intended to be human soldiers who had been forcefully recruited by the Combine, the oppressive alien regime in the Half-Life universe.
