The Red-Threaded-Threat crosses The Ripple into Smack Studio!

The Beanie-Man is a seasoned crime-fighter with years of experience leaping off of rooftops and outsmarting goons. As such, he boasts solid aerial advantage and powerful gadgets. However, despite being a successful superhero, he is only a normal human, so some may say.

Beanie-Man leaps as he does when dropkicking, but instead opts for a block-proof command grab with a nasty launch angle, at the cost of effective movement speed.

THE BEANIE

The Beanie-Man's trademark red Beanie-Goggles not only conceal his identity, but house a number of hidden gadgets. They're also really comfy on the inside, and house speakers for music.

PUT EM IN THEIR PLACE WITH [THE BIG BEANIE]

(Down Special)

[THE BIG BEANIE] is a grabbing projectile that deals lots of hitstun to those it traps inside. Any unfortunate schmuck that gets stuck under it is susceptible to a powerful punish; perfect for keeping those pesky rushdown punks still. It's worth mentioning that [THE BIG BEANIE] stuns for significantly less time should you land it in midair.

THE SOUL SHACKLES:

Though it preserved his life, The world Beanie-Man was sent to was not enough to keep him from fading from reality, without a home universe to siphon essence from.
Thankfully, through the efforts of a talented ally, a pair of runic braces were forged; They bound themselves to the Beanie-Man's life force and harnessed it, keeping him (literally) shackled to the universe.
Each Shackle is outfitted with an arm-blaster, recyclable ammo, force fields, and of course, a spare Beanie; You never know.

BRING 'EM IN WITH THE [SHACKLE SLUG]

(Neutral Special)

Beanie-Man fires a slug from each of his soul shackles. These slugs aren't very strong, but they do pop the opponent inward, allowing Beanie-Man to pursue follow up attacks. Take care in overusing the attack, as you'll need to reload every other shot.

CLOSE THE GAP WITH THE [ROCKET GRAPPLE]

(Side Special)

[ROCKET GRAPPLE] fires a rocket-propelled hook that attaches to nearly anything and draws upon the shackle's unique magnetic field to pull The Beanie-Man to safety, or directly into the face of the enemy. TIP: Be mindful of your usage. You will need to reload the hook every other shot, and you?ll only get one use in the air, even after reloading.

OBLITERATE YOUR ENEMIES WITH [THE MAN WHO SHOT THE UNIVERSE]

(Ultra)

The Beanie-Man removes the Soul Shackles from his arms, attuning with the remaining essence of his dead universe, and channeling it into a beam attack with the total density of every planet, star, and singularity left in his now desolate universe. The Soul Shackles then re-harness, pulling the Beanie-Man back into the living world. As this attack has tons of starting lag, it's best to use [THE BIG BEANIE] to hold the desired target in place long enough for the beam to hit.

SECRETS, TIPS, AND EXTRAS!

- Beanie-Man’s Up Taunt has a special property, and it’s surprisingly useful in combat!
- Try using one of Beanie-Man’s taunts while an opponent is trapped in the [BIG BEANIE]
- Beanie-Man’s Up Special can be acted out of. Use it to close the gap for a swift KO!
- Try using one of Beanie-Man’s taunts while touching an opponent with your outstretched hand.
