[RDY] Raiden Mk4 Crimson

The Raiden Mk.4 is a second generation fighter created for the RDY Fleet modernization program, and therefore designed to be compatible with all generation 2 RDY warships. The Mk.4 is a slight upgrade to the older Mk.2 it was brought into surfice and production to improve the defences of the RDY fleet. after its intoduction the Mk.4 is the most common Raiden model in use thanks to its incredible capabilities and firepower for its small size. The Nickname "Crimson" was given to the Mk.4 after a single squadron of Mk.4's held off an enemy advance against unbelievable odds.

Description

The Raiden Mk.4 is much smaller than the older Mk2 and lacks the Mk2 amazing thrust. It however makes up for this disadvantage with better gun placement and an extra autocannon, the Nose of the Mk.4 is also easier to maintain and edit. its survivability is also impresive thanks to its smaller size and like all Raiden models it has great manoeuvrability. The only big downside of the Raiden Mk4 is the lack of fuel as it runs out pretty fast in atmospheric flight or long missions and therefore needs a support or mothership
