Description
--Ver 1.03 = Improved national items (Fireshield on the spear, Reinvigor on the wings, Construction level 4 for both)
--Ver 1.02 = balanced shield bash (-3 dmg, -1 att, -1 len, Thanks Kalinmir!)
--Ver 1.01 = Added cheaper gods (EA: Heavens + Forge, MA: War + Forge, LA: Love + Underworld). Fixed gold costs.

This mod improves Arcoscephale.
It gives Arco a couple national items and spells, improves map mobility, upgrades its core units' stats into elites, adds an iconic shield bash attack and slings made available to more units for some minor ranged damage.

I standardized the map moves of all of Arco's infantry to 14 (baseline human). So now only their equipment and mounts determine mobility. Hoplites will still be incredibly slow, but it is explained by their heavy equipment.

I differentiated Arco's main infantry as well. Hoplites focusing their training on defenses and staying power. Hypaspists as quick, assault oriented specialists. Phalangites as a balance between the two. The Myrmidons and Companions are the best at everything.

Mages gain randomized magic paths, this should increased diversity while also giving Arco a stronger magical presence.

Some equipment changes include a new shield bash attack to all Hoplon bearing units. Kicks (This is ARCO!!!) added to Companions and Icarids (Flying kick!). Slings added to Myrmidons, Chariot / Elephant riders and Cerulean warriors providing a very weak ranged attack.

Seems better now :) the cardaces are still strong but take attrition since they dont just murder everything in one round

I was trying to base the power level of the shield bash off of the club. I totally get that it might be too powerful though, so I lowered it down to be closer to a fist attack instead. Test it out!

A suggestion: the shield bash is way too powerful for the price of the units and you just roll over indies with what is basically light infantry with formation fighter (at least in EA)...so fix to that may be either severely lowering the dmg or giving it status effect (like stun)

but i love the power fantasy =)
