Description
8-bit Sonic gracefully glides into the fray! The blue blur returns in a compact form, but don't underestimate his pixelated might.

Neutral Special: "READYYYYY" [Stance]
- /\: Sonic swiftly zips upwards, with the sweet spot at the end of the attack.


- <: Sonic teleports a great distance forward, only to cannon spike backward.


- (B): Sonic dashes forward, with the sweet spot at the beginning of the move.


- (A): If you have Capsule then Sonic is able to perform the light speed dasha powerful dash forward into a combo that provides great kill potential at the cost of Sonic losing his Capsial



Side Special: Super Boost
Sonic accelerates forward at blazing speeds. While it has a slow start, the speed ensures resilience and is a satisfying tool for dealing with camping.


Up Special: Cyan Wisp/Spring Jump
- (With Capsule): Sonic gains access to the cyan wisp, allowing for an omnidirectional recovery move.


- (Without Capsule): Bouncing on a spring provides limited recovery options.



Down Special: Spin Dash/Bounce
- (On the Ground): Rev up for a faster spin dash; press jump to leap simultaneously.


- (In the Air): Curl into a ball, dive downwards, and bounce off enemies for satisfying combos.


- (A): After revving the move 10 times you're able to perform an explosive dust move, providing a great mixup for an opponent daring enough to challenge his spindash!


Ultra: SUPER SONIC SPEED
Absorb the chaos emeralds and transform into Super Sonic, turning the tide of battle with overwhelming power. Beware, as proximity to Sonic during this transformation can be perilous for opponents.


Special Mechanics: Sonic Twang
Utilize Sonic's back air and get-up attacks for skillful combos, especially the back air for its potent reversal capability.


Up Taunt: Capsule Summon
Press up and taunt simultaneously to summon a Capsule, granting an additional chance at an up B (usable once per stock).

On the first frame of the timeline you just put if direction down = true then go to and play to the specific taunt animation you want.

how did you get the taunts to work where you just hold the stick and press either down, up left or right to use it every time ???

i actually found a few bugs where in this stage called dash city i landed the ultra but for some reason it made both me and my opponent frozen in time and his spike where you hold down on the stick and push A in the air for some reason the attack doesn't come out and he does like a frenzy of punches like tails from sonic the fighters lol instead but it doesn't do anything

It used to be able to knock opponents balc and give sonic enough time to escape but a glitch with shields prevented me from keeping it. :zagsad:

of course and i didn't know that but even though the boost lands on the opponent you don't have time to get away and it doesn't do very great in terms of knock back and damage i just would love if it was change to something else or improve the side special so it can be very good to use

Tysm! The side Special has it specific uses its mostly for negating projectiles and as a get away option in a tight spot. But I do wish I could do a Lil more with it without making the move too good or too bad.

this sonic is literally my favorite sonic in this game by far but i think his side special should be different because you get lag animation after you stop boosting and if you hold it he can do it infinity on the edge and i think his side special should be changed


buuuuut the rest of his move set are amazing i love his ultra and everything about him ^^
