Wratheon Interceptor MkII

Description
The Wratheon Interceptor MkII is a tactical long distance fighter with smooth precise manoeuvrabillity combined with formidable fire power and now fitted with the new conveyor fed rocket launcher and camera with remote control.

Fitted with 5 fully retractable landing gear that neatly hide away. (note that "P" will not unlock/lock the landing gear so you have to go through the control panel, I have grouped them so just hit reverse.

This workshop contains the two updated variants a straight fighter (Dark blue)) and the Torpedo bomber fighter (Light blue).

Mod's used - Fighter cockpit, Armored Thrusters, Small Landing Gear and the blast door blocks.
Skybox - Earth like planet.

Specs;

Weapons ; 7 x Gatling Gun (conveyer fed) and 4 x Rocket launchers and 1 x new conveyor fed Rocket launcher (Wratheon MkII - T can carry 2 Torpedo's) Press "P" to release both torpedos simultaniously or use the two groups I have made to release them seperately.
Power = 25.88 Mw ,,, power used at full thrust = 37%
Mass = 178.065 Kg

Remote Control with camera at front and rear.
Thrusters - 194
Batteries - 12
Large Reactors - 2
Small Reactors - 16
Medium Cargo - 4
Small Cargo - 11
Gyro's - 11
Large Connector - 1 ( rear mounted)

performance test and creator notes;

The Wratheon interceptor MkII has been designed to be over powered which means it can take some punishment before loosing all power and has been fitted with small thrusters evenly ballanced so that it would be very hard to take out the thrusters for any one direction.
Small enough to fit inside a standard four block high hanger bay with good piloting skills.
The accelaration is good and on full thrust only uses 37% of it's available power.
I have designed this fighter to be stable and smooth in turns by adding just enough gyro's for the weight but not too many as I find that a lot of fighter's turn too quick and you end up over compensating, better to shoot second but get the hit rather than shoot first but miss by miles is the idea behind it.
The carrying capacity is another great advantage with this fighter having 4 medium cargo containers and now conveyor fed rocket launcher you can out shoot most small fighters.

The one thing that is unfortunate is the noise made by the rotors that lower and raise the landing gear when the ship is moving but I have tested it thoroughly and the landing gear still work so they are noisy but so far they work well and can take full thrust and turns no problem, I have checked to see if they move while flying and they don't so it's just noise.

If the noise bug's you just take the retractable landing gear off and fit normal ones.

Update,, v.01 - added camera to aft connector.

Full Review at The Fighter Review: Issue 11

Aesthetics: ★★★☆☆

The Wratheon is a wedge fighter of tremendous size - weighing in at 180k kg with a 36-block wingspan. The use of colored blast door sections to create fins on the ship is a good idea...

Systems: ★★☆☆☆

The Wratheon is propelled almost entirely by small, sloped armor thrusters, and is one of the first ships I've seen use such a setup. Unfortunately, thruster balance is still an issue; while acceleration and pitch is generally balanced, its lateral and braking thrusters are lacking...

Armament: ★★★☆☆

The Wratheon is armed with seven cannons, four box launchers, and one reloadable launcher, but this is, considering its extreme size, a very light loadout. While the cannons are networked with the forward conveyor system correctly, the reloadable launcher is not...

I don't think so, but im not 100% on it.

Can you put two skyboxes together?
