Description
Ever felt like something was missing in the sound department?
Miss when games still prioritized audio as much as everything else?
Want some extra realism, or, dare I say, IMMERSION ?

Well, you're in luck! I present to you the solution to all things audible:

Features:

Dynamic Reverb
Why occupy your time by staring at hallways and corridors? We can give your eyes a break by letting you hear them instead!
EAX uses raytracing to estimate the kind of environment you are in and apply a reverb effect to all sounds you hear as a result.
So, if you find yourself exploring the gm_construct dark room again any time soon, it will naturally become much scarier :)
NOTE: The Half-Life 2 pistol sounds like S#!1 with reverb applied. That is unfortunately a sound design issue, literally no other sound effect sounds the way it does with reverb.

Sound Occlusion
Isn't it weird how you can just as easily hear an explosion as you can a cardboard box tipping over through walls?
EAX uses even more raytracing (don't worry, not enough to set your computer on fire) to determine when sounds are behind objects, and muffles them if they are.
If you're hiding in a building and there are a hundred combines shooting at you from outside, now you'll be able to tell without looking...
It's a very simple effect, but it works wonders in many places.

when reverb is on directional audio doesnt work for some reason

adding on to my previous comment, you can hear things in black mesa that you shouldn't because the sound source is blocked by a wall or door +if you dont have black mesa but are able to port this over i would be glad to play test

This would also be cool if you were some how able to port this to Black Mesa because reverb = cool and i really like the muffling of noises with this addon

it isnt eax in the technical sense, its more of an approximation. and due to gmod limitations i am only able to use built in source engine reverb presets, so i had it choose the most appropriate preset based on the size of the room you are in. i have also tried pretty much every preset and most of them sound weird, so i picked the few that sounded best

Is this really eax? if so it feels really off... maybe make another version or add a way to make the reverbing higher quality (if thats able to be done) also maybe make it so there is more room echoing like instead of smallroom, largeroom, largerroom, alley, and BIG have it so its like concert hall, hallway, room, etc etc.

somehow incompatible with Realistic Fragmentation System. somehow. i dont know why but whenever this mod is on the hitscan "frags" dont work.
