Description
KA BASTILLE MAIN BATTLE TANK

The Bastille is my 2nd tank and my first tank with a weapons system
designed to be used by a single operator she features a fully automatic reloading system and a basic adjustable sight
I was initially inspired by the m1 abrams but ended up trailing off and doing my own thing.
INSTRUCTIONS
-power switch to the right on the seat -engine switch to the right of teh seat -WASD movement - you must stop then hit S again to engage reverse -turret controls L/R U/D -spacebar to fire - there is a switch next to the power/engine switches to activate the sentry turret the sentry turret is mouse aimed and can only be used effectively in 3rd person. Additional ammo in the rear of the turret.
TURRET OPERATION
-turret automatically reloads after each shot(takes 2 seconds) -to refill from the forward store the turret must be facing to the front of the tank -when the sight is zoomed in the turrets yaw is restricted hit "R" to reset the zoom -if the shells fail to move along the belt there are belt jog buttons located -there is a hatch on the front of the tank for adding more shells to the belt -the sight can be adjusted up or down with hotkeys 3,4 and 5 to account for bullet drop

UPDATES
12/2/24 - added datalink and radio - added a rifle and ammo -removed exhaust smoke -moved some logic -slowed the turning to fix the turrets pivot from spazzing out -added some lua to slow the turrets pitch when zoomed in to make aiming easier

Update with a ballistic computer. There is a flip switch to enable it and it goes off the laser distance

@Karnivool can confirm, also had the sentry turret issue on high physics, but a quick respawn fixed it and I haven't found any other issues since

its less about things not working, but more so things you really might want to have in an actual combat scenario:

-no stabilizer
-no radio
-passive laser rangefinder that doesnt actually affect the cannon
-giant smoke plume wherever you go
-infantry equipment (at least armor/a gun)

also, some QOL things:

-it doesnt fit in the train workbench
-maybe an interior at some point?

i can cut some slack bc you don't really do tanks, but you might want to look into some of the things listed
