Please refer to my previous comment. (Note that the file should be retrieved after reproducing the issue but before restarting the game (just quitting is okay))

only way out of it is returning to title screen

nevermind, its just in general after the two merge, win or lose
all thats there is the battle ui, otherwise its a black screen

while this probs wont get a response, theres an issue where upon winning a fight when the two merge, it just goes to a black screen and doesnt progress. Any fix?

Did you restart the game at least once?
If you did, do you have an old version of BepInEx installed? If you have a BepInEx subfolder in your main game folder, check the file named LogOutput in it - the stated version needs to be at least 5.4.18!
If nothing of the above helps, please send me the file named Player that can be found in %appdata%\..\LocalLow\Project Moon\LibraryOfRuina - it should contain information that may help in diagnosing the issue further.
