Description
Tow any terrain object via tow bots. Press F11 to toggle on/off. Note that tow bots have a limited lifetime, based on the amount of time they tow something

I grabbed a video of an asteroid disappearing after I accidentally grabbed it if you need it. I think it would be a good idea to add an "auto off" feature to prevent people accidentally grabbing an asteroid that is in their grid and losing it when they try to place it again. If you need the video lemme know, steam sharing links for videos expire after 2 days so it's not very useful to add it until you need it.

I got it working but I've had two asteroids disappear. Do they disappear if you stop towing with F11 while near another object?

Always save before towing! I had to start a new game to get around the loading bug.

It gets stuck on "loading connectors back up" for me. I waited 2 minutes and it's still on that step. I've never seen a load game get stuck on that before adding this mod. Anyone have an idea? My game is up to date.

One thing to note, when towing, objects are removed from the grid at the start of towing and added back to the grid when you stop towing (as long as it's not too close to another object). If you save mid tow then the object gets saved in a state where it is off the grid and so you can build on top of it. If you have an asteroid or anything else in that state then just tow that object again, briefly, and set it down and then it will be added back to the grid and you won't be able to build on top of it. I do change the color of objects that are off the grid, either in mid tow or released someplace that overlap with another object, but those color changes are lost if you save while it is in that state and then load again.

After playing with the mod some more, and copious amounts saves, I've discovered a few things.
1. If you save while towing, when you reload the towed object will stay where it was when you saved, it won't disappear.
2. It seems that towed asteroids are not resetting their Z-axis properly after you stop towing. You can build over the entire asteroid, and miners are really slow in moving to them. I haven't found a workaround for this yet.

It seems that with the early access launch build, the asteroids you tow sometimes just disappear, gone, out of existence.

The game will now properly download the assets when subscribed.

Towed portals should function properly now as well as update their icon/labels on the map after they are towed.

The towing beam has been updated, both when operating at full power and when under powered. When under powered the beam will appear red, otherwise it will look similar to how it used to.

Towed objects will now properly snap to the grid.

It is now possible to tow Dyson Platforms, which otherwise can't be moved. Note that any connected structures will not move with it. You will not be prevented from towing the platform too far from the star so use with care so it's still functional.
