Lore
gm_far is a dark and gritty map set at night, in an industrial area situated in a valley off the coasts of Half-Life 2. Its quiet nature was preferred by traumatised rebels who knew only the hostile hospitality of the combine, and it became largely inhabited by them. They were understandably very paranoid, and therefore chose not to build upon the area, fearing the observant combine would notice them.
A harbour, rumoured for having plenty of resources, lies near this place. The rebels of this area knew of it, but were too afraid to travel out to the sacred harbour. Eventually, a rebel from the harbour visited the area; a proselyte missionary.
