[RDY] Berge Class - Escort Destroyer

When civilian casualties increased after the RFN expansion the RDY created the Berge class escort destoyer to escort civilian ships and military cargo vessels though uncharted space. After the heroics of the Berge Class "Demion" the entire shipline was upgraded and modernizated to be up-to-date with the newest RFN standerds, thereafter it was used as a succesful military escort and scout craft using its jump range and onboard shuttles / fighters. The class is now slowly being driven out of service because the lack of long range armerment and sensor equipment.

Description

The Berge is relatively weak for its size and doesnt stand a chance in prolonged ship to ship engagements, She however excells in exploration and escort missions using the onboard refineries and assemblers for repairs. The Berge has a pressurized hangar that can fit 2 RDY Raiden class fighters. The Berge class is also unable to fly in atmosphere and lacks thrusters in most directions.
