URL Toolgun - Customise your toolgun display!

Description
Allows clients to customise the appearance of their toolgun display without having to subscribe to a new addon each time they want to try a new look. Currently supports the use of JPEG, PNG, and GIF image formats, as well as looped WEBM videos.

Please note that SnoyLib is required for this addon to run properly.

Notice:
Clients must be on the Chromium branch of gmod for addons to display web content!
To change your game branch simply right-click Garry's mod in your steam library and go to:
Properties -> Betas -> Beta participation -> Change to 'x86-64 Chromium + 64-bit binaries'

Features:
- Adjust the height, color, and scrolling speed of the toolgun text - Or even disable it entirely.
- Comes with an ingame config UI, no need to remember any console commands.
- Supports the creation of private presets so you can save your layouts for later.
- Includes over 200 default presets to help get you started.
- Servers can set their own default preset that clients use when joining.
- Automatically informs users how to open the config UI the first time they equip a toolgun.
- Shouldn't interfere with tools that render their own fancy displays.

How to access the config menu:
- Hold C (context menu) and select Toolgun from the bar at the top of the screen.
- Click Customise toolgun display.

Setting up your own custom toolgun display is easy:
- Paste a link to your image into the config UI text box, and press the apply button.
- Play with the sliders a bit to adjust the size, position, and rotation of the image to your liking.
- You can also optionally adjust the height, color, or speed of the scrolling toolgun text.
- Once you're happy with your changes, don't forget to save them a preset for next time!
(Scroll down to the preset manager and click 'Create preset from current settings')

Went wild with the settings and want to go back?
No worries, just middle-click on a slider to revert it back to its default value.
This works on most adjustable elements, even the scroll bar.
Alternatively, try clicking the little R in the top left to quickly reset a whole section.
Or if even that isn't enough you can revert to the default toolgun via the presets manager.

Don't have an image in mind?
Don't worry, I've included over 200 built-in presets for you to experiment with.
And because they're web assets, you didn't even have to download any of them.
There's also a small selection of the more visually interesting local materials in there as well.

Setting up a default appearance for your server:
(Superadmin only)
Create and save local profile you're happy with using the preset manager, then right-click the newly created preset and select 'Use as default server preset'.

Options to toggle the use of a default toolgun appearance for your server can be found by right-clicking on the 'Use default server preset' node in the presets manager.

Remember that this is only a default profile, and individual players are still free to customise their own toolgun display however they wish.

Tips:
- Looking for a specific preset? Press Ctrl + F to summon the search bar.
- Many nodes in the presets manager have extra options when right-clicked.
- You can revert to the look of the default gmod toolgun at any time via the presets manager.
- There's an option to reset your toolgun display to the server's default profile in there too.
- Prefer exact slider values? Hold left shift while dragging a slider to enable snapping mode.
- While using a slider in snap mode, you can use the mouse wheel to adjust the snap interval.
- You can right-click on the scrollbar at the side of the config UI to quickly jump to a section.
- Got a broken scroll wheel? You can also scroll up and down using the page up & down keys.

Troubleshooting:
"It won't accept my link!"
If you've pasted your URL and the apply button isn't happy then the URL is likely invalid.
The accompanying text should change to indicate what's wrong.
Please check that your URL isn't malformed, is a a supported format, and is a direct link to the image. (URL ends in an image extension such as .png, .webm, etc)

"I see a black screen instead of a web image"
Please confirm that you are running the Chromium beta branch of gmod, as it is required for web content to display correctly. See the top of the page for instructions on how to change your game branch.

"I get a warning when I click on the button at the top of the screen"
This addon requires SnoyLib v2 to run properly. Whoever set up that server forgot to include it.

"The addon is creating errors!"
Uh oh. Please make a comment below with a description of the problem and any relevant errors from the console and I will try and get it fixed for you.

Known issues:
- Untested, but this addon is very likely incompatible with any addon that changes the default toolgun display. (Custom toolgun models, etc)

Found this addon to be fun or useful? Please feel free to give it a like!
I am trying to get the achievement.

Does this work exclusively through imgur links? or would most image-hosting sites work?

@Noseboi right click gmod "To change your game branch simply right-click Garry's mod in your steam library and go to:

It's literally the 3rd paragraph of the description, with a bold 'notice'. cmon man

also fyi, 'Chromium' is just the name of the open-source project that's behind the Google Chrome browser.

@Noseboi, @терминал - If the image URL is valid but your toolgun screen is just showing a black background then you probably aren't on the chromium branch of gmod.
See the notice at the top of the description or "I see a black screen instead of a web image" in the troubleshooting section.
