After 8 years of map making, I have finally completely finished a map.

After a year of on and off work on this map it is finally finished.
The basic premise of the map was collecting all the maps I had ever made for the source engine and compiling them all into the same map with some liberties obviously as I had to do quite a lot of quality control being that a lot of my early maps quite frankly were terrible-

But just like every other map I’ve ever made things weren’t that simple, first of all I hadn’t taken account of source limitations and by the end of adding so many rooms I was beginning to hit source engine limits and it only got worse as errors piled on top of each other and with each one eliminated, another one would pop up until it’d be 3 am in the morning and I’d be on the brink of insanity.

So I had to take some liberties here and there and accept that not every map I had ever made was going to fit into this one, not by a long shot, so I decided to give this map a bit of its own identity on top of my original idea, and I think it worked out quite well. But updates nevertheless will probably still come, and who knows, maybe I’ll add new rooms…
