DE Tram | Siemens Combino Potsdam

The public transport company in Potsdam was the first one worldwide, that ordered Siemens Combino trams in 1997. In the first few years, the order played a major role in PR campaigns for other cities, due to the Combino crisis (recall of all vehicles) there were only 16 trams delivered though. In July 2017, eight units have been equipped with two additional middle sections, raising the capacity by 73 pax per tram. All 16 vehicles are still in service today on nearly all lines in Potsdam.
